Business Development Executive

Key responsibilities

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities: This includes researching potential clients and markets, making prospecting calls, and developing new leads.
  2. Build and maintain relationships: A significant part of the role involves nurturing client relationships to ensure retention and repeat business.
  3. Develop and present proposals: BDEs craft business proposals and contracts to win new clients and secure new revenue streams.
  4. Achieve sales targets: The position is often target-based, with performance measured against weekly or monthly goals.
  5. Analyze market trends: Staying up-to-date on industry developments and competitor activities is crucial for informing strategies.
  6. Collaborate with other teams: BDEs often work with marketing, technical, and sales teams to ensure alignment and consistent messaging.

Essential skills

  1. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication is vital for interacting with clients and colleagues.
  2. Sales and negotiation: The ability to manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing a deal, is a core requirement.

Salary range per month: ₨ 25,000 - ₨ 35,000
